I started out on bicycles since the time I could walk. I have over 50 years’ experience, racing, building and repairing bicycles. It would go without saying, I got great at working with my hands and tools. When I was 6 years old, we would build our own bikes and make our own dirt tracks. We would build our own vert ramps for bikes and skateboards. We would build our own bikes, change gearing, forks, cranks. We would customize fat tire granny bikes. We called them firetrucks. They were great on sand. We would take the brake shoes out of coasters and make freewheels. The sears 10 speed would come out and the Huffy Bandit, Schwinn along with Skateboards, decks, trucks and wheels. It was a great time to be a child. The bicycle industry would grow into Racing bikes and then into mountain bikes as the decades moved on. I got a little older and started racing BMX. I grew into the sport and started to race professionally as a teenager and an adult. Road bike racing was all I lived for. Then Mountain bikes started to come out. The bicycle industry had met its zenith. I have worked at the best bike shops in the country. I would go on to open two bike shops and a product assembly company. I knew all the players, from a lifetime of friendships built in the industry and from all the people I raced with and competed against. I came to know everyone in the bicycle industry from coast to coast and globally. They opened their own bike shops and became sales reps for all the bicycles wholesale houses. Through a lifetime of comradery, I know almost all the players in the industry at every facet and are all now at the helm of every aspect of the bicycle industry.
